Manatee County has been my home since 1954.  I am married to Howard R. Howe, retired facilities manager from Honeywell.  My daughter and three grandchildren reside locally, and there is no place else I would rather live.  Our blended family also includes Howard’s 2 sons and 4 grandchildren.  We have been BYC club members since 1999, and I serve on the entertainment and publicity committees.

 

Interests include boating, (of course), scuba diving, fishing (spear and rod), kayaking, biking, painting and gardening.  We enjoy our boat, “Sea Story”, a diesel powered 28’ Albin Tournament Express.

My husband and I are both USCG licensed captains and enjoy occasional deliveries of powerboats.  Boating experience includes the Gulf of Mexico from the Keys to Texas, Eastern Seaboard, Alaska, and an all ladies trip to Cuba. 

 

My goal as secretary will be to do the best possible job that will reflect favorably on Bradenton Yacht Club, and to be available to help whenever called on in any capacity that I can.
