Publicity Committee
The Publicity Chairman’s responsibilities include the publication of the PoopDeck, the Club’s monthly publication, and the annual Members’ Club Directory. This director also works closely with the BYC Webmaster to keep information up to date.
This committee, which functions under the supervision of the Vice Commodore, is responsible for advising the membership and general public, when appropriate, of CLUB activities and functions This includes the publishing of CLUB Bulletins, Year Books, and other periodic publications that may be required to keep the membership informed regarding CLUB affairs. This committee is required to report at each regular Board meeting

Judy Engberg
Judy and Eric Engberg have been members of the yacht club since 2002 when they moved here from Bethesda, MD. They lived in Columbia, MO; Bethesda; Tenafly, N.J. and Dallas, TX before moving back to the Washington, D.C. area, where Eric was a correspondent for CBS News for almost 30 years. They both graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism and Judy worked for a newspaper as a reporter and page editor until she took on the harder but more rewarding job of motherhood. They have three sons, two daughter-in- laws and two grandchildren.
Judy got her driver's license in Missouri, her private pilot's license in Texas, her six-pack captain's license in Maryland and her master's upgrade to that in Florida. She and Eric enjoy boating on their 36' Grand Banks trawler, fishing, fostering rescued border collies and spoiling their grandchildren.
