THE BRADENTON YACHT CLUB is a non-profit corporation organized under Florida Law to promote yachting and facilitate social amenities. The Club conducts many varied activities for the benefit of its members. Its physical plant contains superb dining and refreshment facilities, as well as a pool, lighted tennis courts, yacht basin, and modern docks for transient vessels. THE CLUB promotes sailing races, cruising and fishing tournaments. The various social and recreational functions are planned for the enjoyment of the whole family. The Board of Directors, consisting of THE CLUB Officers and Directors, is responsible for conducting, overseeing and controlling the activities of THE CLUB. The Board holds regular monthly meetings, and other meetings as required. The day-to-day operation of THE CLUB is supervised by various committees appointed by the Board and conducted by THE CLUB manager and his staff. Voting members are invited to attend Board meetings. Applicants for membership must be interested in boating, and be of a good character. Each application must contain the favorable recommendation of at least two voting members. Applications must be submitted to the Membership Committee for consideration and recommendation to the Board of Directors, which has exclusive authority to determine an applicant's qualifications for membership. The Great Mates, an active group of female members and spouses of members have a monthly luncheon meeting and varying projects throughout the year. They support and sponsor Club and Community functions.
Directions to Our Facility:
From the north, take I-275 south over the skyway bridge to U.S. 41. Take exit #2 then south on Business 41 to Palmetto. Turn west at Tenth Street (Snead Island Rd), about 3 miles to the humpback bridge. Our Club is immediately on the left. From the south, take I-75 and exit on U.S. 301 at exit # 43. Follow U.S. 301 South (West) to Palmetto. Go straight at the light in Palmetto Center on Tenth St. and follow the directions above. Click here to see a street map.

Arrival by Boat:
There is average 9 foot depth in the channel to the Club, 6 feet at low tide. Follow the Manatee River Channel from Tampa Bay. Use caution at the river entrance and hold the red markers close to your starboard. Follow the channel to flashing red "14" and turn northeast to red "2". Hail our Dockmaster on Channel 16. Our Dock Master is available everyday with the exception of Mondays and Tuesdays. They will be happy to greet you when you arrive and assist you in docking. Please contact them on VHF Channel 16. If you would like to make a reservation to visit the club for either lunch, dinner or an extended stay, please call him in advance for a reservation and so that we know you are coming. He will keep an eye out for you. You can reach the dockmaster at 941-722-5936. OR if you prefer, you can send us an email using the button above and the message will be forwarded to him. We have separate shower facilities. We offer Gasoline and Diesel fuel as well as pump out service.
Nice to know information:
Hours of Operation: Tuesday thru Thursday - 11:30 till 10pm, Friday and Saturday - 11:30 to 11 pm, and Sunday - 11 a.m. till 7 pm.
Attire: Casual Dress permitted in our Burgee Room. Main Dining Room is also casual however shorts and jeans are not permitted after 6pm.
